At the Ballpark

The Solivas are in town from Sweden so we decided to show them an American tradition, with a Madison twist.

We took Randy, Nina, Emma, and Hanna to a Madison Mallards game. The Mallards are the local summer collegiate baseball team that plays in the Northwoods league. Think wooden bats, affordable hot dogs (and beer), and players who hustle without getting paid. We had fun watching the game, but more so the antics between innings. After each inning there is something to watch on the field. Examples include Tricycle Rides, Inflatable Sumo Wresting, and Baby Races. Good times are guaranteed for everyone. Even if you don't know the rules of baseball.
