Yesterday was a big day for the Solivas—it was Jonathan's last day of kindergarten. Some people say that you learn everything you need to know about life in kindergarten. So, I thought it would be fun to ask Jonathan what he learned this past year.
Before we get started you should know that Jeanine and I would ask Jonathan what he did after school each and every day. His reply was always the same, "Nothing." You can image how easy it was to create the following list:
Reading
Jonathan amazed us with his interest in books. Currently, his favorites are Little Pea, Little Hoot, and anything about animals. There goes spelling things out loud when we want to keep secrets.
Writing
Jonathan loves to put his wild imagination to use by writing adventure stories. He also likes to write notes to Jeanine and I when he wants something. He somehow thinks this is more effective than just asking.
Arithmetic
Jonathan was in Math Club which he claims was a piece of cake. He also swears he didn't learn anything—that or he is forgetting what he learned 100% of the time.
